WOW.... this was a perfect ending to this story. Everyone was at their most awesome.... I can't believe it's over, but I look forward to the epilogue and the next story you start.
this is, by far, the best story I have read thus far. you have achieved absolute perfection in the portrayal of every character, explained things in as much detail as needed without using too many words. It took everything inside me at night to step away from the computer screen. I was completely enthralled with everything that happened in this story that I was unaware that I hadn't done anything else at all the past week lol. I could go on forever about how great I thought this story was, but I need to get something done after spending so much time reading.
truly fantastic job. But with Draco suddenly on his left side, supporting him, and Snape’s steady hand on his shoulder, he did not fall.
I thought this was going to be just another chapter. I didn't realise it was the chapter. That was just amazing. I'm so glad you didn't kill Snape - I had an awful feeling you would. Poor Narcissa, and Draco too.
I loved the part with Harry drawing on his past memories to evoke the necessary emotions. I guess love really was the 'power the Dark Lord knows not'
I'm on the edge of my seat for the epilogue now. I'm curious to see if Dumbledore is redeemed.
There are so many things that I can say but I would just be reiterating other people's comments. So I'll just pick out some lines:
Voldemort laughed softly. He was falling for it, Harry saw. He was hurt by the circumstances of his own childhood, the orphanage and the lack of care from anyone for himself, and he had damned the world when he started making Horcruxes. He would think it entirely reasonable for Harry to do the same thing. He was limited by his own emotional reactions.
And then:
Harry thought, in the moment he had before the spell hit, that he could wave his own wand and banish the illusion of the Resurrection Stone, so that Voldemort would know it was hopeless.
But he held his hand in the end. There was no need for cruelty.
I was wondering how this part would be handled considering there is no King's Cross scene (which is my favorite alongside the Forest of Dean moment). I read those sentences and took a step back and realized just how much this story complemented DH.
DH is actually one of my favorites of the series. I was sorry I couldn't do the Forest of Dean scene, but I wanted to provide my own tribute to Harry's love saving the day.

And I did think Narcissa would live, but the battle worked out so that she died. I didn't want to kill her, either...

(I hope I haven't made you neglect anything that really needed doing in the last week!)

No, I didn't want the final battle to last too long. That would be giving Voldemort more importance than he deserved.
Dumbledore will be mentioned in the epilogue. Redeemed? Well...
