Snape= amazing Draco is so frikin strong Harry and the love canceling the hate! EEK
I could actually go on and on about how wonderfully symbolic this fic is, but I'll let others freak out and praise your writing skills more fluidly than I could. Just know that you have left me mostly speechless.
Draco and Hermione's strength to hold on while the people they love are in danger instead of just rushing out because they understand that this is the only way any of them could survive left me speechless, it feels too large to ever comprehend and I have to just be in awe of their actions.
I'm so glad you added Severus' flying here and have an actual explination for it, because as much as I liked comparing Sev to Batman and calling him Snapeman, it did irk me after DH o_O. Severus' fight against Voldemort was fabulous in itself for many reasons but what I liked the most was the fact that Severus had so much more control over himself and it was that which gave him the chance to distract Voldemort and survive.
Harry figuring out that he needed only love to win and kill Voldemort was a great way to wrap things up and refer to the books, feels like this is how I wanted the Harry Potter books to be/end! And I just KNOW I'm going to like your epilogue better! Hehehe
Hermione and Draco could be seen as heartless, but it was absolutely necessary to get rid of that Horcrux before anything else could happen. And I think they both did the right thing.
Harry and Draco are, I think, a large part of the reason Snape was able to look beyond himself in the way Voldemort couldn't.
I am so very happy with how you managed things! I loved how Snape was so intent, so absolutely determined, and used his cunning to outsmart Voldie! Although I am so very sad for Draco - the loss of his mother. Narcissa was a wonderful mother... too bad. Great, understated way for Harry to take out Voldie, without stooping to his level. Yet, wonderful as it is - there is/are still another chapter or few, right? Please? It seems, making the DL's death into something less than their relationships, kind of like a footnote rather than the be all and end all, would be fitting. Plus, I just like reading this fic, and was hoping it wouldn't end quite yet!
Voldemort in canon is desperately weak, I think, at least as far as emotional understanding goes. He knows fear and hatred and that's about it. I wanted to show that that's a weakness more emotionally wise characters could exploit.

And yes, there's an epilogue coming.
