WHO: England and India WHEN: Friday Afternoon (18 September) WHERE: Masālā Restaurant WHAT: I-I know we're not on the best of terms, but please don't put any Bhut Jolokia peppers in my food...
Arthur had been perusing the menu when a sudden commotion broke out near the kitchen. One moment all he heard was the normal hustle and bustle of any busy restaurant before everything had screeched to a halt with a loud scuffle and thump followed by a crash. A good portion of chatter quieted down in reaction to what must have been an accident - though many patrons on the other side only bothered to glance over and continue on with their conversation. Seeing as he was so close to the scene, Arthur himself couldn’t help but look over.
He couldn’t see the face of the unfortunate soul who had caused all of the fuss, but he could see that they had tried to walk into the kitchen as a waiter had walked out. The result of which was quite the messy affair that even had Arthur wincing in sympathy

Arthur would have liked to think himself above such things as giving into the temptation of curiosity (which most unfortunately sometimes coincided with disregarding the proper actions of a gentleman), but it would be an outright lie to declare such a thing never happened. Though, if he ever had to justify himself to someone, he would simply chalk it up for his desire of knowledge and information of even the most seemingly insignificant detail. He liked to know things, to put it simply.
But yes, curiosity. He was feeling it quite keenly at the moment, even though not moments before he decided to keep his inquiring eyes to himself. Though he hadn’t been able to catch a glance of the person’s (well, women’s - her figure was most obviously female) features, he couldn’t shake the feeling of…of something. He didn’t know what it was at the moment, but it was compelling him to get a better look
