Roderich had promised her a dinner, yes. And given the Austrian upbringing, it would have made much more sense if they were at a beautiful restaurant, talking softly over a candle-lit dinner. But something in his mind - perhaps it was due to the recent fire of his house - that made Roderich decide... well, they needed to do something more exciting than sipping French wine and eating lamb chop. Not that sipping wine and eating lamb chop weren't any good on a Friday evening; it just wasn't very exciting ( ... )

Berwald's wheelchair was parked next to table, away from the worst of the throng. Tino had left him there to get something to drink. Berwald supposed he was a bit out of place here, considering he was neither allowed to drink alcohol nor able to dance. In fact, Malin had expresly forbidden him from going, but...

Well, for one after spending such a long time at the hospital, it was refreshing to be out of there. Even if this crowd was making him a bit uncomfortable after all that time alone. More importantly, Tino was going, and he'd mentioned Nikolej might be there as well. Berwald frowned at the thought. After that time he'd seen them hugging outside that store, he'd been a bit worried over Tino.

Of course if Tino...if he found someone he was happy with Berwald wouldn't ever begrudge him that, and he didn't really have anything much against Nikolej either, but the guy didn't seem to take relationships seriously ( ... )

Last time I checked we had more germanics. WHERE THEY BE? find_a_fin October 12 2009, 14:48:54 UTC
After finally reaching the bar counter, Tino had been painfully reminded of his own age when the bartender gave him the look. At times even Tino got fed up his own childlike face, especially at times like this. Why oh why was he born in December? Why not January? Or rather, why did these Americans think people under 21 years old shouldn't drink?

Right now there was little to nothing Tino could do about it though, and he just surrendered to his fate and was just about to buy a coke, a coke!, when he remembered something. Berwald was one year older than him, wasn't he? But aaah, of course Tino couldn't ask him to buy him something, the guy was in a wheelchair! And probably wasn't allowed to drink yet himself because of his state.

It's good to see he's in a good enough shape to come here though. Tino thought to himself and smiled, turning to glance at the man sitting far away from him. That means he's getting better. Oh, maybe I should've asked him what he wants? Gah, I'm so rude!At that he started to rush back towards the other man "I ( ... )

I DON'T WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN THEN! mein_einsamkeit October 16 2009, 07:39:45 UTC
The Bavarians... It was a culture that Ludwig had long since been out of touch with, something rather unpolished that he often associated with his grandfather or... that side of his family, as painful and confusing as it was to think about old wounds or drag out the dirty laundry of the Beilschmidts. Not a part of them, but still close, like the old joke that Bavaria was not part of Germany, only near it.

He swallowed the dry lump in his throat and drew in a deep breath, taking in the warm and slightly stale smell of beer heavy in the air. First things first - he had not decided to come to this sort of place alone (he was no lush). Ludwig watched his wristwatch carefully, intermittently peeking at the hands ticking away and glancing around for familiar faces.

A rare and genuinely pleased smile crept onto his face as he noticed Elizaveta and Roderich come in through the door, and he took the opportunity to wash down that fleeting unpleasantness with more beer before making his way over to them. "Guten Abend," he greeted, lifting his

Even if the beer hall was crowded with happy party-goers, it was not difficult to spot out a particularly stern German sitting alone by himself. Especially when said German was looking at his direction. Smiling quickly, Roderich led Elizaveta over to Ludwig. He sat her down on the table next to them, loathing that the small table was hardly enough for all three of them and a drunken blonde was spilling half her beer on the wooden table.

"Guten Abend," he greeted in response. In the spirit of the holiday, he almost felt compelled to hug the German. But he knew Ludwig probably wouldn't enjoy the idea. They weren't the hugging kind of friends anyways. "It's good to see you. I hope you are well."

He turned to Elizaveta and figured he should at least introduce her again. Just in case Ludwig didn't remember her. Not that he thought Ludwig wouldn't remember her.

"I trust you remember Elizaveta?"

"Er..." The look on Ludwig's face didn't suggest he was drawing blanks. On the contrary, he looked slightly embarrassed, not for his own sake but for Roderich's: after all, the last time the three of them were together, he was the only sober one. He also had to pick up one sobbing and pissed out of his mind Austrian. From a gay club. There wasn't any way Ludwig was going to forget that night (EVER), Elizaveta's face included. He channelled this into irritation at the blonde woman now invading their limited personal space, shooing her off with an impatient wave of his hand and, caught up in atmosphere, a few harsh words in German. She only giggled in response, grabbed whoever was nearest, and went sliding to the floor with a thump barely heard over the din.

"Of course I remember." He waved his hand impatiently. "It's good to see you again. Both of you, actually."

"Guten Abend!" Elizaveta cried, also already heavily caught in the Bavarian spirit. German wasn't her favorite language, but when in Rome...

Throwing aside a sudden desire to hug the large German (why did he look so damn huggable?), Elizaveta took the seat the drunk woman had previously occupied next to Ludwig. Said woman almost gave a noise of complaint, but obviously decided even in her stupor to clear off after the Hungarian gave her a death glare. She had been honing that particular one for years.

"It's good to see you, too! It has been a while, hasn't it? And we hadn't even had the chance to get to know each other last time." She politely omitted the fact that they weren't able to do so because she was too busy making sure Roderich wouldn't die.

"Would you give me a fucking second, Hansel and Gretel?" Nikolej shot his brother a dark look, trying to hurriedly finish texting Kat back. Man, having a fake girlfriend was just as hard as having a real one. He didn't really fully understand why he even bothered keeping up the façade, but for one thing, Yekaterina had, well, rather psychotic family. And he liked having his body in one piece. And his door not broken in by crazy Russian bitches. With a heavy sigh, he jammed his mobile back into the pocket of his jeans and bounced on his heels the final steps to the door.

"Anyway, this was my idea," he reminded Hans brightly, mussing his brother's hair as he slipped past him and into the hall. "So take it easy, I'm paying for you, you bum."
