It was a chilly and lonely night, one of the many Lili had been experiencing lately. The germanic girl had spotted this coffee shoppe while on her previous adventure a few days ago and thought she might as well give it a shot ( ... )

Sadiq smiled, taking the seat as it was offered. Her voice was soft and gentle; words gliding past her lips like a fine silk, even as she expressed her surprise. He felt that maybe he had interrupted a daydream, what with those two big green eyes blinking up at him curiously.

Folding one leg over the other, the older man thanked her and leaned back casually, eyes scanning over the small crowd of the cafe so not to stare. Even as the seasons were gradually changing, slowly slipping into October, the building remained relatively air-conditioned. Cold. With a sigh, he put his hands into the pockets of his sweater, only vaguely wishing he hadn't finished his coffee so fast. Regardless... he could risk a case of the sniffles for some friendly conversation.

"Ya hang out here often?" He started simply, being only vaguely flirtatious. If anything, Sadiq didn't like the idea of an innocent-looking girl like this wandering the city alone at this time of the day. He was a protective sort of guy, despite what a lot of people thought.

Lili directed herself towards the man, setting her coffee down on the table so as to be able to speak to him. His mask intrigued her and she started to think that he may have been a type of superhero, unable to show his secret identity...

She brushed a piece of her yellow hair behind her ear and placed her hand politely in her lap. "No, actually, this is my first time here. I saw it while walking about the city the other day...". The man's smile was friendly, warm and welcoming, making Lili feel comfortable in the cold and lonely environment.

She was looking at him with youthful curiosity, though it didn't cross his mind to think that the girl was possibly staring at his mask. He rarely even thought about the stupid thing, since it was such a part of his everyday appearance. Really, it was just another feature, like his stubbly jaw, or the casual cigarette.

Sadiq watched in amusement as the girl swept some hair behind her ear, placing her hands politely in her lap shortly after doing so. She really wasn't striking him as much of a shy sort now, but really just modest and soft-spoken. Her short exchanges were turning out to be rather cute either way, and like most brutes, Sadiq had a soft spot for cute things. To an extent. He doubted anyone could likely resist Lili's big eyes as they glanced up at you, anyway.

"Heh, I come here now and then, usually before work. Coffee doesn't really do much for me energy-wise, but I like how it tastes." He then offered his hand over the table for the girl to shake, "I'm Sadiq, by the way~ Do you have a name?"
