Because Sadiq likes him some wiminz

Sep 23, 2010 00:05

Who: Sadiq Adnan (Turkey) and Lili Zwingli (Liechtenstein)
When: Wednesday evening.
Where: At a small coffee shoppe Downtown.
What: One very, very cute girl has captured Sadiq's interest; fail!flirting ensues.

Sadiq had been keeping a curious gaze on her for a while now, since the moment she sat down. One cup in her hand, filled to the brim with a warm beverage he couldn't discern from where he sat. The girl was alone, as far as he could tell, quiet like a ghost -- as if she wasn't in a cafe full of strangers clicking away at laptop keyboards or discussing politics over a cup of coffee. She stood out to Sadiq, somehow, and the man could only continue stealing glances as he sipped his own coffee (read: milk with coffee flavoring). It was as if he had resorted back to those early highschool years, when kids could only shyly admire from afar and were too apprehensive to approach lest they get turned down. He wasn't shy, nor did he care if he was turned down (that is if he was to decide to take action), but something inside told him that it probably wasn't a good idea.

She was pretty petite, and had a short, almost boyish bob. Sadiq was pretty sure that she was female, however... Or at least he hoped so, for his own sake. The girl looked young, to put it blunt. But her skin was white like porcelain, something that was so exotic coming from a man who grew up where people were tan and had dark hair.

... There was nothing wrong with being friendly. That was exactly Sadiq's line of thought as he finally got to his feet and tossed the empty cup away. He approached Lili's table, which was empty minus it's one occupant, and kept his features nonchalant even as his lips turned upwards into a smile. The smile; it wasn't warm, nor was it arrogant or cocky.  It was really just a friendly approach, intentions clean despite what some of his less-liked acquaintances may think. His mask likely obscured any emotion from his eyes regardless. Sadiq enjoyed meeting new people, particularly when they were quiet and peaceful individuals.

He placed his hand on the back of the empty chair and nodded in greeting, capturing her gaze. "This seat occupied?"

((ooc: I hope this is okay, Lili! > v<; We didn't really discuss the setting LOL))
