The text was a nice forewarning - and after scrambling around the living room to tidy up here and there (he meant to do it that day anyway, as Arthur had repeatedly, kindly reminded Dewi that the living room was not his personal living space and needed to be kept clean; it's Arthur's bloody fault for putting the Tele in that room) he managed to make it presentable. By the time he'd answered the door, he'd forgotten about the gas mask in his hand. The door opened with an abrupt "Are you My Mummy~?", a nervous laugh, followed by a polite bow and a hand to escort his friend inside.

Appropriately, they started with "The Empty Child." Dewi had a lukewarm teapot on the coffee table beside his propped feet, but he paid little mind to almost upsetting it, and Doctor Who for that matter, once he became aware of the same expression the Seychelles girl had been wearing once he answered the door.

"Are you all right, Lucy-Marie?"

"Hnn..." Lucy nodded, only half-hearing the question and curling up a little bit more on the couch. Her flats slid off and she pulled her legs up, almost absentmindedly leaning up against Dewi. "Yeah... yeah I'm fine," she assured him quietly trying to keep up with whatever was flashing on the TV, though it proved a little hard to do.

A soft sigh escaped her lips and her eye lids slid down slowly, muscles relaxing one by one and making it almost impossible to keep upright. "I guess I'm just tired..."

"Are you sure?" he assured, though only halfheartedly because the episode was starting to reach its violent climax. Nine stood in his leather jacket off into the approaching crowds of gas-masked London civilians. The tele erupted with frequent calls of "Are you my mummy?" Dewi would be paying attention to the frantic figures of Captain Jack, Rose, and the Doctor if not for the increasing weight against his arm.

"Wake up too early or summat?" he kidded with an uneasy laugh. He couldn't say otherwise to his sleeping pattern. He was finding it difficult to sleep nowadays.

Lucy was suddenly not very tired anymore- her resting position against the professor now shifted, her hands squeezing his wrist tightly, just shy of holding onto his hand for dear life. Dewi's words echoed quietly in her ears and she glanced at him for a second, cheeks flushing as she started to pull back. "A-Ah... uhm-" she forced a laugh as well, trying to sit up and releasing his hand.

"Y-yeah... I was... looking around Liberty all day for Alfred," she admitted quietly. "I'm... kinda tired. But it's alright..."
