Emi had been in the middle of, well, nothing, really. She had been allowed a lighter workload due to her injuries and with the lunch rush slowing down, there was little to do. And having little to do meant no Roma, no annoying customers to deal with, and no tables to wipe clean at the moment.

And for that, she was happy.

That is, until she found herself with paper - a job application? - waving in front of her face. Jerking back and with a furrowed brow, Emi stared at the application before turning to stare at the woman, no, girl that had addressed her. Why was she talking to her? Shouldn't she be talk to-? Well, fuck. She was busy.

Fighting back a frown, Emi took the application from the girl's hold and looked it over. Why was this half of it empty...? Maybe her English just wasn't all that great-?

"Oiga, se le olvidó llenar estas preguntas. ¿Necesita ayuda?"

{OOC translation: "Hey/listen, you forgot to fill out these questions. Do you need help?"}

Valen laughed nervously and waved her hand, as if she could shoo away the questions like dust in the air.

"¿Quéeee? No, no me olvidé, no," she declined the offer with a (what she hoped to be) charming smile and shook her head, just to make her refusal perfectly clear. "No necesito ayuda, sólo un trabajo."

(1. Whaaaat? No, I didn't forget, no. I don't need help, just a job.

"Bueno, puedo ver que usted necesita un trabajo," Emi began, fighting back the urge to sigh in exasperation. "Pero la contratación no será fácil si usted no puede llenar toda la aplicación."

Skimming through the application once more, she circled one of the answered questions with the tip of her finger. "Aquí. Is there a reason you left this question blank?" Emi asked, eyebrow raised as she stared at the younger girl.

{"Well, I can see that you need a job. However, hiring you won't be simple if you can't fill out the entire application."}

Valen leaned forward a little to see where she was pointing, her eyes flickering across the question briefly.

"Ah, sí, sí, claro que sí! I just not wanting any trash mail sent to my house," she explained with a, rather nervous sounding, laugh. "You know how this is. Put your address in and get strange things."
