Who: Valen y Emi~!
When: July 8th, afternoon.
Where: Dos Llamas.
What: Valen needs a job. Emi might just need some Adbil.

If anyone in Liberty had bothered to read the papers, they would have discovered that ICE had to pay a house call to Centralia Apartments a few days ago. They would also see that were now several new available residences to move into. To make a long story short, Valen needed another job. Day labor was getting harder and harder to come by nowadays, and because of certain mentioned circumstances... well, let's just say that she needed money. More than she had been making at below minimum wage.

And soon.

The last two restaurants that she had been at had declined her for "lack of experience"; well, actually, Haruhi's had told her very politely that she wasn't what they were looking for, and Bon Sejour had barely taken one look at her before she was laughed out the door. Feeling slightly frustrated and resigned, she had resorted to making up a list of all the Mexican restaurants in the area, in alphabetical order. At the top of the list was... Dos Llamas.

The application had been filled out surprisingly quickly in a corner, against the wall, with her favorite futbol pen that had an actual plastic ball as the clicker (it was for good luck, so she was hoping that the third time really was the charm). This may or may not have been because she had left half of the areas blank, and the rest were mostly YES or NO questions, but she was pretty confident that she could smooth talk her way into getting hired still. Somehow.

(Incidentally, the questions left blank were as followed:
What is your current residence?
Are you able to provide verification of your current legal authorization to work in the US for any employer?
Are you of a legal age to serve alcoholic beverages?)

A rather severe and un-Hispanic looking woman had been too busy to look over her application and directed Valen towards another girl who hardly looked that much older than herself, and so Valen very helpfully walked up to the counter and brandished the application in her face; just in case she couldn't tell that Valen was here to apply.

"Hello! I here for job. I finish this," she gave the paper a little shake to illustrate what 'this' was and grinned in an obnoxiously friendly way.
