post-vacation slump
So according to my extremely flaky scale, my weight is somewhere between 265-268 lbs... I managed to stay below my original goal of 270 throughout my whole AMAZING vacation! So I'm down to either 279 (as of today) or 276 lbs as of yesterday (I'm writing both because I figure I can't have gained 3 pounds in a day, so I was probably always somewhere between those two numbers. chub rub is a stupid phrase
I can't wear dresses two days in a row, or really wear them out for long periods of time when I expect to be moving around too much, because of chub rub, mostly wear my thighs touch. I think how much I hate that, and how much I hate the phrase "chub rub", are huge motivators for losing weight. Because I have like 20 super cute dresses and they ( Read more... ) -

I got pretty brutally sick the weekend before last, so I took a break from the whole exercise/diet thing. Quick Update
Clearly I haven't been staying as on top of this as I could, but fear not - I've only missed two workouts so far, so I've been going to the gym/working out 6 days out of 7 regularly, which I think is a pretty good record. I'm still shooting for every day, though! And you know what? It's been paying off! Last weigh in was 281, I've lost 10 lbs from ( Read more... ) -
questionable success
The official weigh-in this morning is making me question the accuracy of my scale rather than the validity of my weight loss plan. I have yet to work out or eat this morning so I thought it would be a good time for a weigh-in, and maybe it was, because the number on the scale certainly agreed with me. 286 lbs! frustration!
Ugh I am so frustrated! A whole week (I know, not that long, but still) of working out EVERY day, dieting, watching what I eat, and for what. I've actually gained a pound!
