At first i was thinking about making chiles en nogada at home myself, but after looking at the list of ingredients I decided to try this dish first at a restaurant.  It was absolutely delicious. Now i have to learn how to cook it at home. It does not look very easy.

Today we had a day off and i went to Glen Ivy Spa in Corona (1 hour drive from LA). It was as always very relaxing and fun.

We took a short joyful ride on a ferry to Isla Mujeres. It is a small 5 mile long island, with a population of 10,000 (according
to our cab driver). The Sanctuary was not very big either but it was a real treat for us. They have hundreds of baby turtles
swimming in a huge tanks.

Yesterday it was rainy, cloudy and cold. We walked for a little bit and had to go back to the car

I saw this Topsy Turvy planter on Youtube and I really wanted to get one for my backyard.
I can't plant any vegetables or herbs on the ground because the dogs would destroy them.
This planter seemed exactly what i needed  and so here it is. We'll see if anything grows in it.
