Isla Mujeres Turtle Sanctuary.

Sep 21, 2011 21:51

We took a short joyful ride on a ferry to Isla Mujeres. It is a small 5 mile long island, with a population of 10,000 (according
to our cab driver). The Sanctuary was not very big either but it was a real treat for us. They have hundreds of baby turtles
swimming in a huge tanks.
You can watch, but you can't touch them or take pictures of them using a flash, so my pictures turned out a little bit dark.

A pier on the island.
