I haven't posted in forever. Okay, hmmm, well, on the family front things aren't going so hot. My grandfather is in a nursing home and using a ventilator. He hasn't been diagnosed with anything because his doctor seems to be a bit dense but it looks like it could be ALS. I'm exhausted. I just spent the past two days helping to paint a dining room and the living room. Sounds like a small job, right? Well, it had to be done without removing the furniture from the room. Moving my crap
Been a long time since I posted anything. Just wanted to give a quick update because I really should be sleeping. I moved out of the Midwest and I'm back on the West Coast. Have I mentioned that the actual process of moving sucks. Ugh, lets hope I don't have to do that for a while. I sure as hell won't be missing the humidity. Although, this ( Read more... ) -

Made some progress. I mailed Mom's card and I still have to write Grandpa a letter. Tomorrow I plan on doing the library app and the resume. Also need to request my transcript for Cal Poly. Oh, and I need to buy milk and cheese ( Read more... ) -
days just flying by
Ummm, okay, tomorrow I'll be productive. At the very least, I have to mail those cards and letters. Crap, need to stop procrastinating.

cards and headaches
I bought a couple of cards. I needed to get a Mother's Day card and a get well card. I was supposed to have sent the get well card awhile ago but I kept putting it off. Not a good thing to do but even though I offered to send one, I'm not exactly close to the person receiving the card. There is also the thing of me having to write it in Spanish ( Read more... ) -

You can tell you are getting old when you require a minimum of eight hours of sleep and you start getting sleepy at 9pm. Next I'll be eating the early bird special at Denny's. Great. -
kids
Got a nephew today. It's odd to think I have a new family member. I find myself a bit emotionally unattached to the idea. I think it is because the kid is my sister's and my relationship with her is not a great one. So, I guess my feelings about her have leaked over to the kid.
