I bought a couple of cards.  I needed to get a Mother's Day card and a get well card.  I was supposed to have sent the get well card awhile ago but I kept putting it off.  Not a good thing to do but even though I offered to send one, I'm not exactly close to the person receiving the card.  There is also the thing of me having to write it in Spanish ( Read more... )

It's raining, it's raining.  Have I mentioned I hate the rain.  And I have to go out.  *sigh*  Not good.

The weather channel is saying the area I live is going to get hit by two storms in the next few days.  What I find amusing is how they state the first storm will probably drop about 1inch of snow but are rather vague on the second storm.  They only say it is the bigger storm and to prepare.  Yeah, cuz that is so much information.  Should I be ( Read more... )

Yesterday, my day sucked.  I fell down twice, so now I'm bruised on my left hip with my left arm a bit sore and I skinned my right knee.  Been living out here in snow town for going on three years and this is the first time I've fallen and I do it twice on the same day.  *sigh*  Still in pain today and I had forgotten how much skinned knees hurt.  ( Read more... )

This storm came through the state today and it was a nasty one.  It wasn't so much that there was a lot of snow but that it was a constant kind of wet snow.  Not that great to be walking around or trying to catch a bus in.  It was the first time I used the X-mas gift the parents got for me.  The balaclava came in real handy.  Now, I hate things ( Read more... )

Snow sucks.  I can't help thinking that when I'm trying to avoid falling flat on my butt.  Sure its pretty when on a postcard or in pictures but not when trying to get from point A to point B.  Okay, the problem is not so much snow as it is the problems that comes with snow.  Snow eventually melts and sometimes that melted snow can turn into ice.  ( Read more... )
