So, I finished watching Firefly & Serenity last night. ( cut for spoilers all the way through the movie )

I missed like 10 minutes of last night's episode so I rewatched most of it today. My thoughts:

I finally got to see ‘the Stolen Earth!’ It was a little fragmented with all the different people but I think it started to mesh as the episode went on. At first the ‘nobody can do anything. My sister totally called the two words = bad wolf (which is pretty good considering she didn’t even watch S1 when most of that was going on).

Um, since when does bad wolf signify the end of the universe? Has this suddenly changed since S1/2? The Doctor didn’t seemed that concerned about ‘Bad Wolf Bay’ or the like. ( Read more... )

First off, extremely cool title. It’s not my favorite episode overall but it has a very ‘mysterious’ quality to it that I love.

That woman is driving me crazy! Who is she?? At first I was thinking Rose or his daughter but she said he hasn’t met her yet…Romana maybe? From next week’s previews it acts like who she is, is significant to the Doctor. The ( Read more... )

Ok, so I saw ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’ tonight. .

I thought it was an ok episode, didn’t knock my socks off but didn’t hate it either. I thought it was kind of predictable - though the date thing was kind of cool. Sooo, I saw ‘Iron Man’ this afternoon. I really liked it. I think all of the actors/actresses did a fantastic job. And I can’t even imagine how long it takes to the special effects and such for a ‘comic book’ movie like this - the credits stretched on forever!! Seriously. (did anyone stay after the credits, btw?)

Meh, I wasn’t super impressed with this episode. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.

The angst-y “that’s what I feel all the time” seemed too similar to the last episode. Let Donna have some fun adventures! Even Martha got a couple of those before the heavy angst set in!
