we're getting a new puppy tomorrow!  she's some sort of mutt - their best guess is golden retriever, black lab, st. bernard mix.  so she has the potential to be a huge, poofy, slobbery mess.  i think we determined her name to be belle.  i'll let you know if that changes.  pictures will be on facebook as soon as i have some.  :)

i ate a piece of my pumpkin pie as soon as i got it out of the oven. no waiting for turkey day for me! especially after having to make the crust which is the biggest pain in the butt in baking history. :p but the pie is damn good :) yummm...

the first annual lafayette halloween party was a rousing success! people came, people had fun, people cashed the pony keg! can't ask for much more than that. and we've got enough halloween decorations that we'll have to host this every year just to try and recoup some costs through use ( Read more... )
