fence!
we have a fenced-in yard! woohoo! and after this weekend, we'll have a partial privacy fence against the park! and flowers planted! oh me oh my i am such a homeowner. :p
yesterday we had the plumber come visit. our bathroom drain pipe was leaking on its way into the basement floor. plumber looks at it and says none of our bathroom plumbing was done professionally nor to code. great. but the temporary fix on the pipe was only $100 so not bad. the permanent fix involves ripping up the basement floor which is something we don't want to have to do until it's absolutely necessary. i hate homeownership. it's such a back and forth struggle.
in non-house news, we had our few puppy training class last night. boy was lulu tired after that. man oh man. she got to run, romp and play with other dogs her age for an hour and learned how to sit and come when called. not bad for the first night. we have to start trying to leash walk her soon and get her trained on that. since she's going to be so big, i don't want to have to deal with her pulling on the leash all the time. gusgus is small enough that i can pull back. :)
