(no subject)
i love reading other peoples blogs. and yet i suck at updating my own. i feel like i'm not doing my part to keep the blogosphere interesting. on the other hand, i rarely have anything interesting or entertaining to add.
i'm not a writer. i don't like sitting down and composing stories or vignettes or putting that much effort into writing anything other than my life. and outside of family and close friends, no one can possibly care about what i have to write.
this is actually very okay. i'm hoping it keeps my blog on the dl from search engines since it's an open blog. no locked entries for me! well... maybe one or two here and there. but when you're so far away from family and friends, the blog is often the best place to post updates on my life. or at least updates that don't fit conveniently in facebook.
so here's my 2 cents worth of an update on my life currently:
just got a new dryer with the money i got from my fender bender
doug's going to be in chicago this summer which i'm really excited about. i'm looking forward to spending my weekends exploring chi-town. maybe i can bring gusgus if the living situation is pet friendly. oh! and the new puppy i plan on getting this summer :)
cha's gf is visiting us for a week. i like her
i got a part in the vagina monologues. practice starts tonight. the show is april 30 for any of you who might be interested in attending
march is red cross month which means i'm crazy busy at work and am really tired
i think i've bought 5 new pairs of jeans in the last year. that's just unacceptable. and 3 other different pairs of pants. really unacceptable. i have a problem.
we're getting new phones in a couple weeks. i don't know if i want the iphone or the htc tilt. suggestions?
and my boss just told i need to go home so i'm going to go home. i like that plan. :)
