Wow, that Doctor Who breakfast would be amazing! Except on reading the details, my first thought is that it would be okay with me if Peter Capaldi didn't come. Not that I dislike him or anything, but after seeing who else is going to be there, I don't really care if he's there or not ( ... )

Are you going to enter the contest then? I know the chances of winning are very slim, but we can all dream, can't we?

But what the heck would you discuss with these distinguished gentlemen? I would totally panic. Maybe the key is to take a friend who isn't really a Doctor Who fan and they can be less awestruck.

I really want to play Andromeda, but I don't have a PS4 and I think my sense of direction is bad enough that an open-world game would end with me getting lost in a hayfield for several hours or something equally foolish. I've been playing through the ME trilogy for the first time and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I'm almost done with ME3.

I just started Andromeda this afternoon so I don't have an opinion yet. I'm still getting used to the new map system so there was a lot of wandering around on my part. And this was just in the first mission. I can't imagine what it'll be like when I land on the first uncharted world. I'm so used to the controls from previous Mass Effect games, and an Xbox controller to boot. Things are laid out a bit differently on a PS4 controller.

Let me know what you think of the ending of ME3. There was a lot of hullabaloo when the game first came out.

But here's an even more important question: who did you romance? :-) Were you pretty consistent across the games? Or did you pursue different characters?

Oh jeez, that sounds extremely like an opportunity for me to get lost. I freaked out when ME2 stopped giving me maps for missions that took place outside the Citadel or Omega. My desire to play Andromeda has been greatly reduced though since I found out that the romance options were different than I thought ( ... )

I miss having a mini map. Now it's just a compass along the top of the screen and it's very annoying trying to figure out which way is the navpoint.

I picked up a used copy of Dragon Age: Origins the other day and I started that, but omg the controls make no sense, I got stuck in my squadmate's body for a whole minute, and it looks SO OLD even though it's the same age as ME1.

I remember Dragon Age: Origins being a bit of a slog. So many quests to do. I actually prefer Dragon Age 2, which probably puts me in the minority since it's not well liked. So if you can make it through the first game, the next one is worth picking up. Eve Myles voices one of your teammates and her character is just the cutest.

The last ten hours or so were just really unpleasant because it felt like constant extremely difficult battles. If they wanted me to feel like I was being worn down by an impossible war, it worked, but I literally got to points where I just wanted the game to be over because I was so tired of fighting banshees.I felt the same way, too ( ... )
