This weekend I finally coordinated myself with the snow and went cross country skiing in the park, down the block. I took the dog with me... Picture this, me speeding across the field with a dog leash in one hand (hence the speeding) and a bag of dog poo in the other.

Dennis Weaver, who once shared his umbrella with me while standing in line to go into the Hong Kong pavilion at Expo, died of cancer on the 14th. I wish he had been in more movies and T.V., he was good. It would be nice if everyone's level of notoriety was based on merit instead of how well they were promoted.

The traffic reporter, reported a stalled motorcycle this morning. They have been out all over the place. Yesterday was 14 C . Other than about a week of temperatures in the minus teens in November we have had almst summer weather.

Calgary is the only city of a million or more people, in the world that I know of that you can listen to the helicopter traffic report in the morning and hear a story of a car hitting a moose on a main street. The moose was alright but the car was totalled off.

Just a reminder: Make sure you update your antivirus and do a scan before tomorrow. A bad worm is waiting on many people's computers to delete all your important files on Friday.

It's a sad time in Happy Happy Bunny Land (the name of Valerie's soon to be released internet cartoon). The creature who inspired the cartoon characters who have rocked the school over the last few months, has died. It has stopped raining here. It wasn't that bad except for the arks that kept floating by.:) Actually it didn't affect us that much though many people did have a lot of damage to their homes. This is the ho hum news. Now for the really really good stuff ( Read more... )
