O HAI YOU GUYS. Laptop still dead, but now dead and actually gone, which is to say that the nice men from the insurance company came to pick her up and hopefully (?) I'll find out in the next few days whether I get a shiny new one or not. If not, I...literally don't know what I'll do. My stepdad lets me use his from time to time, for homework ( Read more... )

That was lovely. I liked the Arthur/Morgana section best.

Thank you! That's my favourite one, too (if it's not too egotistical to have a favourite), so I'm glad somebody else liked it. :)

This is probably the most amazing fic comment I have ever had; I have no idea how to adequately answer it, and to be honest I don't think I even...can. But thank you, so so so much, and, um, oh my God, and and and I'm back properly on the internet now, my dead laptop having been replaced, so expect to have me bugging you a lot more now!

Oh wow, this was...totally perfect. The entire passages about the simple, understated time between Arthur and Merlin is absolutely beautiful and timeless, and I adore Arthur and Morgana's acquaintance in here. I think I'll remember the bit about Merlin's "sad eyes" the most, though, and I love that you tie it back to his inability to lie.

*mems*

Eeeeeee, thank you! I adore Arthur and Morgana's brother-sister relationship (though I've a horrid feeling they're going to ruin it with kissykissy) so I'm especially glad you liked that aspect. Really pleased you enjoyed it! :D

I am completely and solely wedded to Pros and I've never even watched Merlin but this just drew me right in and I thought it was a beautiful piece of writing!

Cheers.

aww, thank you, that's so lovely! :D

I'd definitely recommend the show, even if you're not interested in moving into a new fandom: they've got that buddy cop vibe of being ~grudgingly forced together~ but then growing to massively love and trust each other over the course of the series, which, unf. And there is SO MUCH AMAZING BANTER. jfgnlskgndf.

I actually caught a glimpse of it last night - a scene with Merlin sitting up close and chatting to a young, fair-haired chap - and it looked incredibly slashy!

Oh gods, it really is. They're always sitting like that, talking like that, saving each other from peril, and all the secondary characters keep going on about their obvious growing respect for each other and how they're "two halves of the same coin" and "belong together" and what you will. It's all on the iplayer and I cannot recommend it highly enough! :D

Oh, I loved this, especially that middle section: such a wonderful sense of atmosphere. Yum.

And the first part, watching Arthur (being ...built?) really gave me a sense that yes, this is Little Arthur. Lovely!
