O HAI YOU GUYS. Laptop still dead, but now dead and actually gone, which is to say that the nice men from the insurance company came to pick her up and hopefully (?) What a lovely portrait of both of them! Interesting that they both have that Protector instinct, though Arthur's comes out from behind the spoiled privilege that covers it up, while Merlin's stems from his lack of privilege. And I love best of all that there are times when they can drop all the walls together and just be.

Cheers. :D I love all that ~two sides of the same coin~ stuff (almost as much as the Dragon and Merlin's mum and freaking everybody else does, apparently!).

Thank you! :D Perhaps it's knowing how she'll end up, but I love their siblingy relationship so hard.

This is amazing! I was directed here from aeroport_art's rec list, and I'm so glad that I read it. The combination between second and first person narrative is really effective, and I just love how so many characters are explored. Thanks for sharing this! ♥

(Oh, and when I saw "Make an assessment" to comment, I almost fell off my chair! Aaah, the Boosh... :D)

jgjerngk, thank you so much! This comment was so lovely and out-of-the-blue and really made my day. Thanks for reading! :D

(Ahahahaaa, I always forget that's there; I changed it in, like, 2006 or something, and genuinely did a lot of puzzled blinking until I got to "aah, the Boosh" and went OH YES. Bless their wee hearts. I THINK YOU'RE A NICE MODERN GENTLEMAN.)

Those were all very lovely- but I have a special love for the first one. Imagining those two interacting as children has its very own magic ^^
