You are an UTTER GENIUS, you realise that? This is amazing. I think my favourite bit is the first and last scene and the way it's the beginning and the end but still the same scene and, yes, it's extraordinarily clever.

I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU LIKED THIS. I've been really struggling to write, lately, to the extent that I basically wrote almost all of this between midnight and four this morning, so it's a real exercise in desperation. You were the only person I could think of, other than Maddie (obvs), who might actually get some enjoyment out of it...so I'm terribly glad you did!

Thank you very much! I've never written Prior before, and always had an irrational fear of attempting to, so I'm ever so pleased you thought I got his voice. Also, I had no idea you'd written Torchwood/Regeneration as well this year! I shall have to take a peek when I get back from my father's. :D

(Also, in my plan, Prior's encounter with Ianto was, like, "gratuitous prons" - but then I remembered I can't write that, hahaaaaaaa. FAIL.)

Prior is a scary person to write for, I think. You did the wise thing and picked other characters to write for as well. I didn't. It was...unnerving, spending a day with Prior.

Also, I had no idea you'd written Torchwood/Regeneration as well this year!

Jack/Prior was the first thing I thought of when I was planning out birthday fics at the beginning of the year. Of course - I didn't actually write it until Wednesday.

(I am tempted to write Ianto/Prior prons now. Even though I'm not very good at it)

I am always elated when someone writes Regeneration fic because normally it's just me and m'colleague derryderrydown, and when someone writes something as good as this it's like a Christmas present. :D I'll LJ-pimp it later, but I emailed dear Drunk as soon as I'd finished reading, because she'll want to read it.

I made a load here based on a photoshop based on mine and Derry's insistence than Tom Hardy makes a more accurate Prior than JLM, but if you prefer a movie-canon Prior there are I believe many at outoficons by the very talented elendar.

Your Prior is all playful in his own special brand of damaged-y way, and I love him, and I love that he wanted Rivers (I may have made a wounded animal noise when Rivers was dead, wtf time stop killing Rivers) and LOOK this sentence makes no sense, see what you have done?

HEEEEEEE. I'm so glad you think I can write Prior! He's a bastard to pin down, but I love him so so much that it was ridiculous amounts of fun to even attempt it. Also, the Rivers thing? Don't blame me, bb, blame...God, or somebody, because real!Rivers died in 1922. FACT.
