I wrote my Slayers-Discworld crossover. I diverged from my original idea, but that's a good thing since my original idea was kind of stupid. I've never actually written for Discworld before even though it's the biggest influence on my writing. This is just meant to be kind of a fun thing which should be evident in the amount of crap Xellos has to ( Read more... )

The funniest thing is that back in the day, I also thought about writing a crossover between Slayers and Discworld which was meant to be a parody - luckily, though, the thing lies buried beneath piles of old data in the dusty, mysterious, Forlorn Files Land, never to be seen again ( ... )

:D Thanks!

They just seem like very compatible universes in some ways~

I'm glad I got the tone right. I started re-reading Interesting Times to get my brain in Discworld mode.

I remembered the scene from Wyrd Sisters where they summoned a demon and thought that would be the perfect way to include both Xellos and the witches (who are probably my favorites, though it's hard to choose). And I knew, then and there, that Nanny MUST flirt with Xellos.

Hope your day gets less crappy!
