I wrote my
Slayers-Discworld crossover. I diverged from my original idea, but that's a good thing since my original idea was kind of stupid. I'm afraid I have to save your discworld crossover until I've actually read some of the novels first. I don't know enough about discworld to give you an informed opinion.
I have been playing around with a mystery-themed Slayers story of my own. My notion was that an assassin tries to off the Seyruun royal family at the funeral for Amelia's grandad. Christopher is killed, phil and Amelia very badly hurt. So Naga is by default in charge. Lots of potential for Naga playing off everyone there. And I wanted Zelgadis playing detective, comparing notes with Amelia as he visits her at the healers. Develop the romance a little there. And this laet's me have Amelia play armchair detective while Zelgadis does the legwork. I was thinking of being a little referential and having Amelia reading a detective novel while she heals up and have it influence their theorizing in humerous and eventually helpful ways.
I was thinking these scenes could be played pretty much like Holmes/Watson or Poirot/Hastings. For the Zelgadis investigation stuff I'm leaning towards something more noir in tone. Not sure how all of that is going to mix.
Anyway, just an idea running around the old brain at this point.

I hope you do try Discworld. It's excellent.
I just think Zelgadis has a lot of potential to be an awesome detective. I've only got a few vague ideas that this point, nothing like how yours is formalized. But I'm sure I'll put the pieces together eventually.
