Magick is a difficult word to define. Crowley's definition isn't bad, but I understand that in Thelema "Will" refers to something different than what one might normally define it as. I spell it with a "k", for no real reason other than I like to do so ( ... )

Your welcome! I love hearing other peoples views especially since I don't have many actively practicing people to discuss these things with.

To me personally adding the 'K' is silly and one of those things that pushes magic out of reality. If I'm talking to someone about magic that understands what I'm talking about and can make the distinction between spiritual magic and magic tricks it usually isn't a problem. I wouldn't be talking to a person about it if they weren't at least curious, that is I assume a person interested in discussing the subject would know the difference.

Spellwork...Well I haven't played with spells too much. But to me, I think it'd be to serve whatever the purpose of the spell is, and to feel in harmony with life, the world, universe, what have you. And to prove to myself over and over again that I'm connected to the divine. :)

I used to write 'magic', but I just got used to seeing the form 'magick', and I just sort of went ahead with it. It's habit now. =P
