First off, a belated but heartfelt HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to
urrah - it's like a week late, but I had
your present up on time! (Er, sort of, since it was originally a Christmas present. *facepalm* As has become a tradition with me, your fic-pressie also includes a DVD commentary track of your choice;
I have updated the list.
I'm home sick today, as I was

I'll give you a fandom character:
Scorpius!

Scorpius. Oh, my.
a. My favourite thing about Scorpius
...this is tough. Uh, I would have to say his tenacity, and his aura of self-confidence, He knows exactly who and what he is, and he refuses to be ashamed of it.
b. My least favourite thing about Scorpius.
While Scorpius has a moral code, of sorts, it's a highly dubious and self-serving one. Plus, the dude is just creepy.
c. One person I would ship Scorpius with in his own verse.
If I only get to pick one, I would have to say I pick Braca over Sikozu. Sorry, Sikkie. I find the Peacekeeper dynamic of thier relationship fascinating - as opposed to two freaks getting it on, which is IMHO what the S/SS ship has, esp from a PK angle.
d. One crossover ship for him I think would be neat.Someone once wrote Scorpius/Borg Queen for a multiverse challenge one year, and I have to say that's way up there ( ... )

I had Scorpius, Blake and Avon as a possible Multiverse assignment once, and I didn't touch it because I was afraid of it. It'd pretty much have to be a giant, universe-threatening plot-fest, wouldn't it? But, man, I'd like to read it sometime.
The other one is: in an amazing display of heroic self-sacrifice - just to confuse us.
Oh, I can totally believe that. :)

Oh, it SO WOULD. That would be epic. I am so NEVER writing that. XD

I did your poll (some cool names there), commenting that I'm not reading DW journals and commenting on them till DW get a readinf filter, because so many are duplicates. I'm reading comms though because you can filter those out.
I note that lady_smith has lost all its CSS and takes a ages to load; maybe it's trying to load stuff it doesn't have. :-P

Yeah, I have to admit, that's stalling me for moving lizamanynames over - it's less of a problem for lady_smith. That said I will be very very happy when they get a sodding reading filter.

???? - loads fine for me....
And now:
STAAAAARK! :-D
a. My favourite thing about Stark.
...oh god. ONE? Uhm, his compassion.
b. My least favourite thing about Stark.
I have to admit, the shreiking really gets on one's nerves, especially in a crisis.
c. One person I would ship him with in his own verse.
Seriously, do I have to answer this? *points at lj header* ;D
d. One crossover ship for him I think would be neat.I think Stark/River has serious potential - two broken people, trying to fix each other. RSR (I think?) wrote this once, and it was ( ... )

She did. IIRC, she wrote it after I said that I really couldn't see them as a pairing, because I felt there was something vaguely squicky about it, but, as she often does, she proved me wrong. :)
I even once contemplated a crossover series where Stark visits every fandom I can think of/write properly.
I think I've vaguely contemplated that, myself. There are so many crossover scenarios he'd be terribly interesting in.
The idea of Stark&Sydney gives me chills.
I want this. Now. :)

Then you can write it. ;P

The awesome that is that icon is entirely julsiggy's fault - she said she had a ton of TRON screencaps and asked if anybody wanted icons, so I said I was actually looking for a B5 icon just then, could she pick a good Tron pic and put a Sheridan quote on it? ...and THAT is what she came up with. I LOVE IT.

ETA: Oh, and have Jarod from The Pretender for your meme. I want to see your answers. :)

a. My favourite thing about Jarod.
That he's such a decent human being, despite having the Worst Childhood Ever(TM). Also those moments of childlike wonder at the world - but they are getting rarer as time goes on - more the pity.
b. My least favourite thing about Jarod.
His nasty-ass vicious vindictive streak. The boy can get downright scary sometimes, and you almost never know if this is the time he's gonna take "writing wrongs" a little too far.
c. One person I would ship him with in his own verse.
...pass. Jarod has so far to go before he can have a healthy relationship, I just can't manage this.
d. One crossover ship for him I think would be neat.
I have to admit - you completely sold me on Jarod/Jenny. (From Doctor Who, for those other folks who missed it)
e. One crossover universe for him I think would be even neater.
Jarod in the Farscape Universe just fills me with utter delight. I think he'd almost be better at handling it then John was.
f. his ship from hell.Jarod/Lyle slash wins out slightly ( ... )

They do, but, y'know, he never loses them entirely. Which is just... just... *hugs him*
His nasty-ass vicious vindictive streak.
I quite like this, actually, dramatically speaking. It makes him that much more interesting, even if it's not a good thing for him as a person. (Which, of course, it's really not.)

I'll be interested to see if your opinion on that changes any by the end of the series. I... sort of go back and forth on it, myself, I think.

I'm amazed how thoroughly I sold myself on it. :)
Jarod in the Farscape Universe just fills me with utter delight. I think he'd almost be better at handling it then John was.I think in some ways he'd be much better at it than Crichton, but he also lacks some of the qualities that worked so well for Crichton. ( ... )

Yeah. And that he never loses it entirely? That is my Most Favourite Thing.

I have sort of a love/hate relationship with, because you're right, dramatically it SO WORKS and makes things so awesome and interesting and the show would not be as good without it. But because I'm so invested in Jarod, every time he does it I'm like *wince* "OH JAROD NO!"
I'll be interested to see if your opinion on that changes any by the end of the series.
True of a lot of things, isn't that? Sadly I am in the waiting-for-Chris lull between seasons. :/
Oh, ewww, ewww, ewww, ewww, ewww. I wish I didn't have that in my brain now. Especially as... Um. Yeah. Not going there. Ick. :)
Oh god, they're related, aren't they? No, no, don't tell me. Oh, Show.
Oh, I like that. :)I'm rather proud ( ... )
