Fingers crossed here, but I think it was a great move to go ahead and get Alex's adenoids removed along with his first set of tubes. He's been remarkably un-moist since. Just be prepared for Peter's breath to be really, truly foul for a couple of weeks. Like something died in there.

yeah, our doctor told us the same thing. IT went well, but he woke up angry and sad at the same time. It took about 30 minutes of cuddling to get him to fall back asleep - the problem with doing the surgery right at naptime, but he's doing fine, now.

The stinky breath will come in a couple of days. Did you do the breastmilk thing? Did he like that? He seemed fine yesterday at school. It's amazing how quickly kids bounce back!

He didn't care much for any liquid - but he had a few ounces each of BM and apple juice. He came home after he woke up from napping in Britton's lap, had 2c applesauce, two bowls of honey nut cheerios anf a grahm cracker (and lots of water) and was peachy the rest of the evening.

Let us know how it went when it's over.
And David's right, the breath was nasty. It was so pathetic, my sweet baby smelling like rotting roadkill.
