I got to work this morning at 2:45am only to find all the warehouse guys walking along the carpark towards the evacuation point. At this current point, we still haven't found out why the alarm went off, but I can't imagine the local residents were happy with the noise. It was cold. What a wonderful start to the day

the one called 'autumn letters' made me think that, well, the crispy leaf looks like the moon and it's almost like the moon got bored of being in the sky and decided to come down to earth but there it all went wrong and it ended up crispy and shrivelled. now it's lying in the gutter in some strange reversal of the whole 'lying in the gutter, some of us are looking at the stars' thing (oscar wilde? i dunno it's early). like the moon is lying in the gutter (like the nick cave song 'the moon is in the gutter') and is it looking up at the stars?
