so the residents that live near ikea must really love us...

I got to work this morning at 2:45am only to find all the warehouse guys walking along the carpark towards the evacuation point. At this current point, we still haven't found out why the alarm went off, but I can't imagine the local residents were happy with the noise. It was cold. What a wonderful start to the day!

Then I was called in to sit in a meeting with the warehouse lads before I was hoisted off to learn how to do fix the stock conveyor and do the morning paperwork, then I attended another meeting with replenishment staff before learning about the rest of the morning paperwork, then working the stock on a department. After the store opened, I had to attend one final meeting to find out about activities and planning in the showroom. I needed to attend in preparation for next week when I will be representing Christine, and subsequently logistics, at this weekly planning meeting thingy. I love learning stuff! It makes me happy! :D

I have 2 days off now which is good. I might be able to eat, which will be a novelty, cos I've not felt like eating for about a week now, and every time I do eat something I get stomach pains and feel sick. Sigh. Christine tells me it's gonna take my body a while to adjust to the night shift. +10 Manager Chris said that my pee schedule will be severely affected. Haha. I just wanna stop feeling queasy all the time. Ah well, I'll get used to it. :)

Anyway, photo course this week has been a lot harder. The assignment is a bit more tricky, and cos I've been working mon, tues, wed, I've not had much time to go find my photos. I'll have to have a good think tomorrow and friday cos I'm working all weekend as well! Eeee!

I have a new online photo album! Please have a look! :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/crazylittlechinesegirl/

Right, I'm gonna go and enjoy some tv without needing to think about sleep! Hoorah! :)
