have been a little (not that much, but a bit) ill this week. it involved lots of sleeping and sweating and hallucinating. at one particular three o'clock in the morning i believed i was a bank for a short while. you have no idea how stressful it is. i'm glad i am a human.

this sumptuous beauty of a caramel shortcake was enjoyed today at the barbakan in chorlton. look at the fat slug of caramel and the plastering of delicious dark chocolate on top. this immediately brought the barbakan into number 1 spot in the current cake place standings with 'a piece of cake' in guernsey in second and 'bread and butter' on tibb ( Read more... )
