You've got a Harry! And is that a Merlin I spot there? The tiny pink bear (?) in the first pic is so, well, tiny. Was that really hard to make?
Love the big cake too, but my all-time favourite of your Amigurumis/crafts remains the darling blue cream tea cup. So cute! Though the whole collection looks adorable huddled together like that.
Yes, a couple of years ago I made a Harry Potter amigurumi in celebration of Harry's and Jo's birthdays. And the Merlin doll, I made that after the second series aired.
The tiny pink bear wasn't that hard to make. It took some getting used to working with a small crochet hook and thin crochet thread, but it worked up quickly because there isn't much detail in the limbs and ears.
The teacup is your favorite? I remember when I made that one. I had just bought a big canister of Earl Grey tea that day. LOL. I think my favorite amigurumi is probably Harry Potter (I've taken him with me to the HP midnight screenings). And my favorite sewn plushie is the big Jane Austen doll in the back.
I'm glad you like the pictures, Zarina! I've been sort of behind on posting comments on my friends' LJs lately - I've been spending a lot of time reading HP posts all over the interwebs. ;) I still have to check out your holiday posts!
Thanks so much for the links, it was interesting to read the entries. I'd actually seen the teacup one before as when I found your journal (browsing for new icons) I came across it and I instantly wanted to friend you because of the awesomeness of that creation alone (and you turned out to be awesome yourself too, win!).
omg, too much cuteness here! What a great and big collection you have, Kat ^^ You should be proud of this awesome works. Awww, I can't choose just one of them but I love the Harry one! ♥
I am sure I have asked this before, but could you send me a PM about a crochet for the absolute beginner? or suggest one please. I like the idea of cute homemade toys for kids.

Sorry, but no, I don't sell my crafts anywhere. I used to many years ago, but now I just make them as gifts (or for myself!). Thank you, though. I'm pleased you like my Harry doll so much. :)
