Last week canadian_turtle asked me if I keep all my crafty creations on display somewhere. And the answer is...yes, of course! I have cubby shelves in my bedroom, and on top of one of the shelves is where I keep an assortment of some of the plushies I've made over the years. Some are crocheted, some are sewn. Not all of them fit on the shelf, so some of them are hiding in one of my cubby holes.
When I look back at some of those plushies, I remember when I used to hand-sew everything (like the yellow Yuzu bear and brown fuzzy bear in the back) because I didn't have a sewing machine. Since the shelf is relatively low, my nieces and nephew often take them down and play with them. It's nice that they like to play with my handmade plushies, and not just their store-bought Disney toys. ;)
