"When you're in labor, keep thinking 'this one isn't so bad.. gotta wait for the BIG one' and things wont seem as bad as they are.." (or something like that)

I got to talk to a friend of mine on the phone today (I think I used up all my in plan long distance minutes... I'm gonna have to up it from an hour..). She's does breast feeding "classes" and has a support group on the base. I'm glad to have her around but she's leaving at the end of the month so I'll probably only get her help once or twice ( Read more... )

Today has been a good and odd day all at once. I'm still tired and not feeling the greatest (last night/yesterday afternoon I started feeling really icky) but other than that I've been ok. I just got up a little while ago and things are feeling ok (now that I'm up at least). I must sleep really funny because sometimes I hurt so bad when I wake up. The pain is usually in my lower back and hips, sometimes on my side (near the baby) but after a little bit all the pain fades and I'm right as rain again. I'm ready to be done being ( Read more... )
