I just got up a little while ago and things are feeling ok (now that I'm up at least). I must sleep really funny because sometimes I hurt so bad when I wake up. The pain is usually in my lower back and hips, sometimes on my side (near the baby) but after a little bit all the pain fades and I'm right as rain again. I'm ready to be done being pregnant, but I have to wait on the little one inside, it's not ready yet apparently.
Before I got pregnant myself I usta think poorly of pregnant women. That they were being weak and stuff for attention. That it wasn't going to be that hard... And what's up with the waddle? I didn't give pregnant women that much credit for how tiring, difficult and painful it is being pregnant. So to all the women I've ever doubted.. I'm sorry (but I also know that some women do just play up the pregnancy for attention...) I wanted to be strong for mine. I wanted to work up to the last minute, I wanted to be tough and not let anything stop me. It wasn't that easy.. I was in school, and I went every day (if my car would start) sometimes being there for 11.5 hours a day, up to almost 50 hours a week sometimes. It was hard, tiring, and emotionally draining. People didn't seem to care and half the girls there didn't believe I was pregnant. I don't care, I know I am (and at this point, if you cant tell, you're blind *lol*). I had my friends and supporters however... Deanna, Brandi, Becky (classmates) my teacher Jan (she knew I was pregnant before I did *shaking head, laughing*), All of the ladies (and guys) upstairs in the offices were great for support too... just to name a few (I'm so bad at names I couldn't name everyone and if I tried, I'd leave someone out and they'd feel bad, all you who helped me, talked to me or just were nice to me while in Vatterott, THANK YOU SO MUCH!)
Also both my husband Doug's family and my family have been super. Jane (my Mom in law) is a nurse who works with all the birthing women.. she's great! Full of help and advice. She and her husband are always helping us out. Doug's dad is also super. (His parents chipped in and bought him some new pants and belts for work.. because he kills his clothes.. and lots of shirts.. oh.. socks too!) His parents have also gotten us so much stuff for the baby. The crib is so neat and just everything is wonderful. (now if I could get the house clean and stuff put away *lol* everything would be perfect)
Doug and I are really lucky. There are so many people we should be thanking, for so many different reasons, and we're not good at remembering to say "Thanks so much" so if you don't hear it, we mean it, we really do. Just poke us and remind us sometimes *grin*.
For the pictures below, I'm gonna post them somewhere else and make it so you can see them better... I did that last night because I was having so much trouble getting them onto my fave server.. I'm also going to make a folder there at yahoo pictures for just baby stuff (maybe).
I don't know what else to say, but I'll keep coming back and letting everyone know what's on my mind, when something appears there. *g*
