I've been trying to find the dimensions of late 19th century British banknotes. Nearly all the sites I can find refer to modern bank notes and those that mention the historical currency have some information of the types of notes but nothing as to the actual dimentions ( Read more... )

I can't really find anything that states how long it would take to cross from England to, say, Jamaica.
