Xander was a good choice to try and pound a few home truths into Angel's head, as Willow was all caught up with the romanticness of Buffy and Angel.I loved his babble and offering to let Angel read his comic books. Xander could be annoying, and perhaps this contributed to Angel pouncing on him and offering him to Spike? or was this story written after that little episode.
Very nice.

Spike is season two, and this is set season one, so things have started diverging from canon very early. However, I do have to think that "School Hard" would go differently with this altered relationship.

OMG that was freakin *perfect* Xander!

I completely adore you, Mwah!!

Xander accidently saving the world by hading Angel "the truth, and nothing but the truth"...

::happysigh::

Also, just know that if I *ever* particiapte in a prompt-fest, I totally know that it's just throwing seeds to see if anything grows. No expectations, luv. Just do you thing. ::hugs::

Thank you so much. He gave Angel so much of the truth, that I think Angelus is not as likely to appear here. Quite frankly, Giles should have been the one saying this in canon.

And I"m glad your feelings aren't hurt. Sometimes the muse is tickled, and sometimes she is not.

I think Angel, after traipsing around eating and rats for close to a century, was malnourished and faint-headed when he beheld the glowing-in-the-sun Buffy outside of Hemery High and became fixated on her.

Xander certainly pointed out a few truths there.

I think that's entirely possible, but him going after a high school girl's virginity... yeah, kinda creepy, so I'm glad Xander had the chance here he never had in canon.

Xander for the win! \0/

He usually did make sense in his babble; you just had to listen...or be forced to listen. Spot-on with the voices, as per usual!

Favorite line (especially considering what happens later on in LA): I'll loan you my Batman comics. You'll like them. (Well, it's either that or the Night of the Comet reference...)

Xander-babble and Willow-babble both had more than a kernel of truth in them if you listened long enough... I just don't think that Willow would ever be this brutally honest. I mean... ow.

And I'm glad you enjoyed the Batman reference!
