Yeah, I had those people at the bookstore all the time. They'd call and say "Hi, I've got a book on hold . . . ?" And I'd be like "Okay?" And then they'd act like I knew what they wanted. People are expecting you to invite them to act; they seem to think that the only effort required on their part is to push the phone buttons to connect themselves to you, and then their job is over. It is time for YOU to pull out the mental pliers and puuuuuullll out their question.
