Checking the last few posts it was clear that I was a very unhappy individual. I had a job that I hated, and winter had no end. Thankfully a lot has changed. I left my job on the Google campus with evil vendor back at the end of March. I moved over to an IT support group where I am now managing a team of uber-geeks. Eh, well I am still at my job after 1 year. I completely hate it. I have a shit ton of cash coming my way in bonuses if I stay another year. While I am not employed by Google I am on the campus of Google. After a year, I have been able to influence the marketing giant on how to be better at a few things they do. Well I've moved to another job. I now work for a vendor of google. While it been a few days i've adapted well into the culture. Not that it was hard because it is very similar to Verizon Wireless. In addition I'm learning the culture of Google. It seems that because we are a vendor with Google, the culture of Google bleeds through. The culture isn' ( Read more... )
