So the party was a great time. I ended up throwing caution to the wind, moving away from all prior options. Little Red Riding Hood was too big. Strawberry Shortcake was for a girl w legs waaaaaay shorter than mine. The french maid one I found made me look like a cross between a grape and a garbage bag. ( So the winner was... )

Happy knitting is so much better. There is not grumbling to get something done or cursing when the yarn decides to split, fray, knot, or do all three. I like happy knitting esp when the person's eyes totally light up. Can you tell I'm excited about new projects ( Read more... )

It still makes me go wow since the first time i saw this band I was in a FOREST PRESERVE though it was the old old old lineup. Tis so nice to see a local band getting national recognition.
