On October 31st, Halloween, my agent sent me an email saying he had read my manuscript and liked it very much.

Today, Valentine's Day, he *finally* emailed me a copy of our contract.

I'm starting to love holidays. I can't wait for Memorial Day!

We had been up to 17 people at one point, so when I realized it was only going to be 10 people I felt a little disappointed. I worried it wouldn't feel like much of a thing.
