Day 8 & 9
So, the sore throat prevails. And the green still comes out. But I have an appointment for me to go to the doctor tomorrow at nine. I'm hoping to get the green stuff gone and maybe start to feel a little bit better. I actually stayed awake today. So, that's a step in the right direction. Day 7
Day 7 brings some strength despite the pain I'm having in my joints. Mostly knees and wrists. I woke to my right ear hurting. I don't know if it's part of the sinus infection or it's the fact I really need to go the dentist. I have had both happen and they feel quite similar. Day 5 & 6
Day five brought more throat pain and lots more needed sleep. I'm having a hard time getting moving. It feels more like my joints are fused together. I think if I was a character off of "The Wizard of Oz" I would be the tin man. I just need some oil. Or whatever is handy ( Read more... ) -
Day 4
Day 4 does not bring much relief for me. Today I woke up with my throat really hurting and coughing up green stuff. I know may not be what you wanted to read, I just need to write down all the symptoms. Joint pain was moderate today. I need to get control of the pain before it get a hold of me ( Read more... ) -
Day 3
Day 3 begins with a sore throat. I'm really tired today. Sleep was not restful at all. I sleep most of the day to feel anywhere near better. No real joint pain today. The normal wrist pain was there but nothing severe. Now my throat. A little more than I thought. I'm going to gargle some warm salt water to help with the pain. Day 2
Day 2 started off much better today. I think a lot of yesterday was because of the pressure outside and the weather. I'm feeling more like myself today. The only pain I'm having today is in my wrists ( Read more... ) -
Personal goals for the summer, Day 1
So I have decided to set personal goals for the summer to help my health.
First off, I'm in the process of changing my diet. Ultimate diet goal: No red meat at all. Chicken, Turkey and Pork in moderation, until I don't eat any of it any more. No potatoes at all or peppers. I know now about the potato dream that Meg had last year ( Read more... ) -
Results from the doctor
So, I just got back from the doctor. He did some blood work which will take a couple of days to get back. They are to find out how many different antibodies I have which tell how severe the lupus is. Yes, it's not official, but I'm being treated for lupus.
They put me on Prednisone and Plaquenil. He said it should help me with the ( Read more... ) -
