"It was very strange, especially the part where Sam and I only had one kid that was ours together," she admitted, hanging upside down off the bed. "Too loud? Like how?"
"Not much. I, uh, I wanted to thank you? For letting me crash in last week and doing something awesome with my hair and make-up and all that, because that was so great and thank you? And, uh, I kinda have a lot of cookies leftover, from yesterday, so, I didn't know if you wanted some?"
She held out a container with some of the leftover cookies.
Sam peered in past the door before coming inside, just to see what kind of mood Dawn was in. "Hey," he said, going over to give her a kiss. "Can you believe the semester's almost over?"
"Two things," Dean said coming in and handing over a large envelope. "Wanted to drop off some prints of the pictures I took of John William, Maggie and the other kids."
Sitting up, Dawn reached for the envelope, opening it immediately and looking at the pictures, smiling a little sadly. "Thanks, Dean. These...these are great."
