Dawn was leaning up on one elbow, watching Sam. She knew she should get up and finish the room protections, but she didn't want this to end, didn't want to live in a room by herself.

God, this sucked.

Sam wasn't home yet. He'd left this afternoon with Dean and he wasn't home yet.

So. To sum up the last few weeks. Getting into college. Prom. Her kid with Sam. Her kid with Luke. Graduation. Faerie invasion complete with faerie frying pan smackdown. Family dinner. Saying goodbye to Mel. Sort of, except not.

Dawn was still maybe a little blissed out from all the love and wedding from the day before, and had woken up ridiculously early. Like, before the sun came up early. She'd spent the next bit of time watching Sam sleep with a silly smile on her face, since that wasn't at all creepy, until she finally dozed off again.

It was a Sunday morning, and quiet, and she didn't have much homework, so Dawn felt perfectly justified in sleeping in. Not that she'd really rationalized this, because sleeping, half on and half off of Sam as she almost made it on the way to waking up.

She shifted in her sleep and snuggled closer. Yeah, so not happening yet.
