It's August and I'm feeling down

Even though I got a decent amount of sleep last night and I saw Despicable Me with dremiel  (which is very, very funny and extremely silly and we both want squid launchers now), I woke up feeling blue. The feeling has not gone away. I'm just....sad.

I finally figured out why. This is the anniversary of my mother's death. It's been 18 years, and like

I'm sorry to hear it. My dad's death-iversary usually passes by without affecting me, luckily. I think it's been 18 years as well.

I do regret the things he did not have a chance to enjoy by leaving the world so long ago.

I'm sorry to hear that. I do get it, though. It hasn't been that long for me, but Mom's death date fell among other memorable dates in such a way that I'll never forget it. Something in me still remembers and notices every May 5 with sadness.
