I had to brush out my hair before a shower, and I find that task boring, so while doing so I watched a couple minutes of the first movie that came to hand, Brother Sun, Sister Moon. Within about a minute I was crying. lol I'm ridiculous

ha ha! J. used to have a crush on Judy when he was a kid. They still play Black Beauty on some Xian channel on cable, and we watch it from time to time; we especially love to hum along with the theme.

It was a British TV series in the 70s, not really about the book, more of a 'Lassie' type children-and-animals-have-adventures thing -- but good. At least as far as I recall. :-)

I think you'd like it... medieval costumes and sets... directed beautifully by Franco Zeffirelli, who also directed the 1968 Romeo and Juliet and Mel Gibson's Hamlet (1990).
