I have come to realize something in the past seven days of writing hard for NaNoWriMo, of losing my wallet two days before that I lost my wallet with $800 dollars I know I'll never see again, and the coming of winter...I have discovered much. I have to play catch up today and tomorrow. Between work, sleep and forced hangouts with friends, I haven't been hitting my quota as hard as I'd hoped for the first week. I'd like to get 11,600 words by the end of the day, right now I have 9, 426. The story is fleshing out nicely so far though...its fun watching the characters and plots evolve ( Read more... ) -

Finally finished 100 pages in my hand written journal for the outline and brain-storming of the Veil of Shadows! I shall celebrate by rewarding myself some sleep. It's not even the 1st of the month and, when it comes to getting people other than my close friends to like it, I'm off to a bad start. I need a way to get people's attention from the first word they read and hold it there 'til the last. The tome of which I use to craft a universe
I got my Acer Aspire One Netbook in the mail yesterday, finally. I have to say, I am pretty satisfied. I'm really liking how big the keyboard is...I was worried that it would have been really cramped and very uncomfortable for typing. The battery life is amazing, it lasts up to 8 hours! Seeing the potential in those around you
I'm skipping fencing for the 4th time today to prepare for NaNo month...which makes it official that I need to withdraw from the class. Its a real shame because I was really enjoying the class. It hurts to write for my story because of how badly I want to escape there from the real world around me. Fairbanks is the coldest it's been all year, the frost hasn't melted from the heat of the sun today. Winter is finally taking over my small city, and I'm not looking forward to it at all. The Birth of a new Universe
For the past month or so I've been preparing for NaNoWriMo.
