My co-worker and friend is living a nightmare...her boyfriend fell to his death over the weekend. He was on the roof of their apt. building looking at stars and fell 40 feet down an air shaft that he didn't see......on top of that, he had plane tickets to take her to Paris tomorrow to propose to her. I'm officially in... got my acceptance letter yesterday from UMass Boston to get my M.Ed. in Counseling. Exciting and scary all at the same time! I'm going to attempt being full time and working full time ... class of 2008 if I put my mind to it! Then I can get the heck out of my dead end job and can do something I really want to do! Yaaaaaay!

My grandfather died on Tuesday. I don't think I've ever been this devestated. The funeral is tomorrow and I need to give the eulogy. It was the hardest thing I have written and I don't know how I'll get through this tomorrow. Please send all good thoughts my way if you can.....thanks.

Disney World on the 17th--just one full week of work and then a 4-day week.....ok, I was excited a minute ago but now I'm scared! So much to do at work in that short time! So.....I guess the biggest news right now is that I am applying to get admitted to UMass for my Masters' degree. I want to persue the Marriage and Family Therapy track, and I've been filling out my application and studying for my GREs. The deadline is soon- February 1- so I've got to hurry through all of this.
