I attended my third Renaissance Faire yesterday, in costumes designed and hand-made by my lovely Gretchen. We got so many compliments and pictures taken, and of course we had a smashing good time!

I can't believe Gretchen MADE those costumes! They are beautiful!

aren't they?? and in some ways, very practical - totally washable, pre-shrunk, adjustable sizing, everything. She's a genius, really.

We didn't have enough lacings to fully attach my sleeves, but we'll get those. I rather liked the vambraced look, hehe. And it can be worn without sleeves as well!

I miss my dishwasher :( *sniff*
but the rest of it is pretty good. you'll have to come see it! We can watch Grey's on my new 27" TV thanks to Mike!

I'm green with envy. I am hoping someday to drive up and visit my Grandma and visit the MN Ren Fest. :) You two ladies looked lovely, and yes, I have to agree, red is your color. :D

you'd have such a blast - plus there's LOADS of pagan stuff to buy! it's really a market for those products. I got a ceramic vase with a triskele on it. Tis gorgeous!

I highly recommend Ren Faires - if for nothing else, the people-watching is FANTASTIC! some people get SO INTO it all, haha.
