*AMAZING UPDATE*
Andy went to his check-up at Mayo clinic today (he's down to once every 3 months) and this is the text I got from him: "just got out of appt... taking me off all my meds in 3 months, no sign of lupus in my body at all..." reflecting
I so often am filled with the frustration and resentment of what my life isn't and what I don't have. So it almost takes my breath away when these beautiful moments strike me where I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. In all the craziness that i'm dealing with right now, this at least made me briefly laugh: (at the Taco Bell drive through) "Welcome to Taco Bell, can I take your order? Although I should tell you that we're all out beef here". hahaha. hilarity. -
technical difficulties
Does anybody know how/what program i can use to make a slideshow with music (that makes a movie I can put on a DVD)? Like, I know how to make a powerpoint, but I was looking for something more like an iMovie (is that what it's called?). The only time I did one of those was for a class in college and we used macs. In loving memory... Scott Lindecker-July 12, 1976-June 7, 2009
Scott was my boyfriend in college (1999). We remained friends long after, but had lost touch in recent years. On Sunday, he shot himself. Due to my vacation I did not get to attend the funeral or see his family, but am sending lots of love to them. Scott, you will always have a special place in my heart and you will be sorely missed.

back in the saddle
Ok, I'm going to be brave. I've kept this kind of under wraps because I was nervous it wouldn't work out like last time, but this time is for sure. I'll be the sole clarinetist in the show, and we're a "stage band" so I'll actually be visible. It's unfortunate that it's far away and expensive, but here goes anyway:
